I’ve gotten several calls this morning from people with frozen pipes. I thought that I would tell all of those who don’t know about this in this frigid weather. In Mississippi, we’re not used to this sort of thing and are not prepared. What most people don’t know is that it is not enough to leave the hot water or cold water dripping when it’s this cold. You have to leave both sides dripping, if not the side will freeze that’s not dripping. Also, for those of you who have gas log fireplaces: When not in use for a period of time, the gas will leave the line and non flammable air will take it’s place. If your fireplace won’t light, push the button that bleeds the air out of it. Once you smell gas, hit the igniter and it’ll work
